1 Cup Poha/chivda (pressed rice)
1 tbsp Oil.
1/8 tsp Asafoetida.
1 tsp Mustard seeds.
½ cup tomatoes, finely chopped.
8-10 Curry leaves.
1 Lemon (for juice)
2-3 Whole red chillies.
½ cup Potatoes (diced small) and other vegetables.
तैयारी
Rinse 1.5 cups poha in a strainer and let it sit to soften (not mushy).
Heat oil, add ½ tsp mustard seeds, 8 curry leaves, 2 chopped green chilies, and 1 chopped tomato.
Add ¼ tsp turmeric, salt, and optional diced potato or peanuts.
Add the soaked poha, mix gently. Add 1 tsp sugar if you like.
Cook for 2-3 mins on low heat. Turn off heat.
Garnish with lemon juice and chopped coriander.
