A'darsha

11th point

Observe Uncompromising strictness and faith regarding the sanctity of the A’darsha (Ideology)

1. In Sanskrit, Adarsha can mean "goal" or "ideology"; here, it means "ideology."

2. Baba explains that in samadhi, the psychic waves align with the spiritual waves of the Atman; this psycho-spiritual parallelism is called "idea" or bhava. When bhava or idea is conceived on the psychic level, it becomes "ideology."

3. Thus, ideology is the conception of psycho-spiritual parallelism at the psychic level, and nothing else. Such psycho-spiritual conception can only occur through a spiritual philosophy.

4. In Ananda Marga, "ideology" refers to the complete spiritual and social philosophy — the path and practical way to move towards the chosen goal — known as A'darsha.
We should always strive to:
•Never alter or compromise these sacred gifts.
•Never allow others to attack or ridicule them.
•Never attack or ridicule the religious beliefs of others.

5. One should study Baba’s books thoroughly to become competent in the spiritual and social philosophy of Ananda Marga — our ideology.

6. One should also actively participate in the organization to help generate collective force for transforming society.

Benefits
Life without ideology cannot be called human life.
The basis of our ideology is expressed in the motto of Ananda Marga:
"Atmamokṣārtham jagaddhitāya ca"
("Self-realization and the welfare of the universe")
This represents:
Subjective approach — towards the Supreme Subjectivity (Parama Purusha), through meditation.
Objective adjustment — through service to humanity.
Our ideology and spiritual practices have come from an intelligence far beyond our own. They constitute the means by which we hope to attain our life's goal. Thus, one should have non-compromising strictness and faith regarding the sanctity of A'darsha.
